TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services provides courier and logistics services including but not limited to:

  • Shipping from USA and China to Jamaica

  • Air freight services

  • Online shopping assistance

  • Package receiving and warehouse handling

  • Package tracking updates

  • Home or office delivery across Jamaica

  • Tax-free shipping address service

  • Handling shipments of small, medium, and large packages

This includes items such as:

  • Barrels

  • Appliances

  • Furniture

  • Electronics

  • Containers

  • Commercial cargo

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services ships approximately three (3) times per week via air freight from the United States.

All shipping schedules are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

  • Customs inspections

  • Airline or freight carrier schedules

  • Weather conditions

  • Government regulations

  • Operational delays beyond our control

4. Service Areas

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services delivers across all 14 parishes in Jamaica.

Delivery is free in selected areas, and conditions may apply. Delivery to remote locations may incur additional delivery charges.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors related to shipments.

Responsibility begins once the package arrives at our warehouse and ends once the package has been delivered to the customer or handed over to third-party delivery partners.

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services is not responsible for:

  • Vendor or seller errors

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by customers

  • Packages lost or misdelivered before arriving at our warehouse

  • Delays, losses, or damages caused by airlines, shipping carriers, or third-party delivery partners

  • Customs delays or inspections

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging by vendors or senders.

Fragile items including but not limited to:

  • Electronics

  • Glass items

  • Liquids

  • Cosmetics

  • Breakable goods

are shipped entirely at the customer’s risk, regardless of packaging method.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers are responsible for ensuring all items shipped comply with Jamaican and international laws.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives or flammable materials

  • Hazardous chemicals

  • Counterfeit or replica goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable food items

  • Live animals

  • Cash, cheques, or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited item may be confiscated, disposed of, or surrendered to authorities without refund. TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services assumes no liability for seizures, fines, or penalties.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for all customs declarations, duties, taxes, and government fees.

Items valued over USD $100 may be subject to customs duties in Jamaica.

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services assumes no liability for customs delays, inspections, confiscations, or penalties.

9. Online Shopping Assistance

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services offers online shopping assistance for customers who need help purchasing items from international websites.

For assisted purchases:

  • Full payment must be received before the order is placed

  • Customers must confirm item details, price, and specifications before purchase

  • Once an item is purchased, payments may be non-refundable

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services is not responsible for:

  • Vendor delays

  • Wrong items shipped by the vendor

  • Product defects

  • Size or fit issues

  • Vendor cancellations

All refund or exchange matters remain between the customer and the vendor.

10. Tax-Free Shipping Address Service

Customers may use the TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services Florida tax-free shipping address to shop online and avoid certain U.S. sales taxes when applicable.

Steps to Use the Tax-Free Shipping Address

  1. Register for a shipping account with TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services.

  2. Receive your personal Florida shipping address.

  3. Use this address when shopping on U.S. websites such as Amazon and other online retailers.

  4. Complete your purchase and ship the item to the provided address.

  5. TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services will receive the package and ship it to Jamaica.

Customers must ensure accurate name and account information is used when shipping packages to our warehouse.

11. Package Tracking

Customers will receive package tracking updates once shipments are processed and prepared for delivery.

Tracking updates may depend on information provided by airlines, carriers, and shipping partners.

12. Payments

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer

  • Online payments

All shipping and service fees must be paid in full before delivery or package release.

13. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of package delivery or notification.

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Proof of purchase or invoice

  • Photos of the item and packaging

  • Any relevant shipment details

Claims submitted after the deadline may not be accepted.

14. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Customers will be notified when their packages are ready for pickup or delivery.

Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees.

Packages left uncollected for 30 days or more may be auctioned, donated, or disposed of to recover storage and administrative costs.

15. Amendments

TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms become effective immediately upon publication.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between TaneX Swift Ship Courier Services and the customer regarding the use of our services.
